We are calling for workshop proposals for our 2025 national conference, taking place in Cardiff on 16 October. This year’s conference will focus on play policy, research and practice: getting it right for children.
We are inviting everyone with an interest in, or responsibility for, children’s play to submit a workshop proposal. We are looking for theory, practical and research based workshops, on a range of themes:
- Play and early years
- Play and health
- Play and inclusion
- Play and planning
- Play and play areas
- Play in schools
- Play sufficiency
- Playwork
- Workforce development.
If you are interested in facilitating a workshop, please complete and return the workshop form to us by 25 June. We will let you know if your workshop has been chosen by 11 July.
The information you provide about your workshop will be shared with delegates to help them choose which workshops to attend. Delegates need to know what they are going to get from your workshop, and what they will be expected to put into it.
If your workshop is chosen, you will be given one free place to attend the conference. Workshop sessions will last 60 minutes and we may ask you to run your workshop more than once.
