The Playworkers Forum is back for 2026!

The Playworkers Forum is a two-day, residential playwork training event under canvas that gives playworkers the opportunity to learn from each other and experienced playwork trainers.

Delegate rate

This year, we are offering an early bird rate for all delegates. Book your place by 30 April to benefit from the discounted rate.

  • Early bird rate: £95
  • Rate from 1 May 2026: £130

Bookings will open on 11 March 2026

Participants are expected to camp and will need to provide their own camping equipment. Hot drinks, lunches, breakfast and an evening meal will be provided.

We want to make the Playworkers Forum inclusive and accessible for delegates who want to attend. Please be aware that the event and venue is entirely outdoors. If you have specific access requirements you would like to discuss please get in touch.

Camping space is provided as part of the delegate rate, and this includes a buffet style breakfast. This helps to keep the overall cost of the event low so more people are able to attend and we hope it allows teams, as well as individuals, to attend. The outdoor experience is part of what makes the Playworkers Forum a unique professional development event and so we encourage delegates to camp to gain the most from this event.

 Who should attend?

The event is aimed at playworkers, play development workers, playwork managers, forest school practitioners, childcare workers and all those wanting to increase their skills and knowledge in playwork, especially in the outdoors.
