Early Years Wales’ 2026 conference brings together two distinctive voices in early childhood: one grounded in relational practice and nurture, the other in the latest developmental science – to explore the foundations that shape young lives. The conference will feature two keynote speakers:
- Dr Aaron Bradbury – High Expectations Through Play, Joy and Curiosity
- Cardiff Babylab – Stepping into babies’ shoes: Understanding early experiences through headcams.
David Goodger, Chief Executive Officer of Early Years Wales, will lead the plenary on changing childhoods, childcare expansion, and challenging reports – what does all this mean for the future of childcare in Wales?
