Supporting Care Experienced Young People in Wales

A free webinar for professionals and practitioners to support care experienced young people in Wales.

Participants will learn:

• the definition of ‘care-experienced’ and understand the different types of care arrangements (for example foster care, residential care, kinship care)
• how to recognise the key challenges care leavers face, including housing instability, financial insecurity, emotional wellbeing, and transitions to education or employment
• about the support systems and an overview of Children in Wales’ Getting Ready Project.
