Hours: 20 hours per week (typically working 2pm to 6pm) – temporary role until 31 March 2026, but could be extended
Salary: £25,989 to £28,142 per year pro rata

The purpose of this role is to contribute to the successful operation, development and delivery of quality play opportunities within play sessions across Cardiff.
You will be part of a dynamic play team providing child centred, creative, fun and stimulating play opportunities.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and enthusiastic, with experience of working with children in a playwork environment – supporting children to participate in free play activities.
A level 2 playwork qualification is an essential requirement for this role. You will also have experience of planning, preparing and delivering a stimulating, exciting and challenging play environment, through consultation with children to empower their play.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.
