The Tesco Stronger Starts fund is offer grants of up to £1,500 for community projects that support children and young people.
Eligible organisations can apply to be in the blue token customer vote in their local Tesco stores. Three local good causes will be selected every three months.
The scheme is open to schools, voluntary or community organisations, health bodies, parish/town councils, local authorities and social housing providers that support children and young people. Examples of supported projects include:
- contributing towards costs of a summer play scheme
- funding towards a youth club
- buying equipment for outdoor or indoor activities
- brownie or Scout groups needing funding for new play equipment or activities.
There is not closing date for applications to the grant.
