The Journal of Outdoor and Environmental Learning is welcoming papers for the forthcoming issue, ‘Special Issue: Risky play and learning in the outdoors for educational, developmental, and health purposes’.
The editors are seeking papers that explore child and/or teenagers’ exposure to risk-taking behaviours in outdoor experiential settings.
In addition, the journal is interested in research which examines how opportunities and access to risky learning spaces are designed and their impact on children’s play, learning, and development.
Deadline for submissions: 7 December 2022.
