Celebrating play – a short film

This short film shows children playing in Wales and Japan, to celebrate the universal joy of play. It also features interviews with children of all ages – in English, Welsh and Japanese – sharing what they love about play.

Originally produced in collaboration with IPA Cymru Wales and IPA Japan to celebrate International Day of Play 2025, the film is a useful resource for promoting children’s play throughout the year.
