Our literature review, Playing and being well is now available to order in print – in English and in Welsh. The publication provides a comprehensive review of recent research into children’s play, social policy and practice, with a focus on Wales.

Undertaken by Dr Wendy Russell, with Mike Barclay and Ben Tawil from Ludicology, Playing and being well focuses on the role of play in children’s wellbeing, children’s play patterns, and adult support for children’s play.

The literature review – commissioned by Play Wales – was published in November 2024.

The cost for each print copy is £49.50 including UK postage. Please get in touch for orders outside of the UK.
