The International Play Association (IPA World) is holding a series of free fortnightly webinars for members from October 2022 to May 2023 – leading up to the IPA World Conference in June 2023.
Each World Webinar Wednesdays event will take place over 90 minutes and will feature conversations with IPA members from around the world. Across the series, 31 presenters will showcase the work that has been instrumental in supporting Article 31 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) in their communities.
The purpose of the events is to help members learn more about the power of play and to inspire ideas.
The schedule of events for 2022 is:
- Building Social Cohesion and Community Wellbeing through Play (Northern Ireland and Australia), 12 October 2022
- Providing for play in Ukraine (Poland and Germany), 26 October 2022
- Advocacy for Spaces for Play in the Community (Portugal, Taiwan and Scotland), 9 November 2022
