The Matthew Good Foundation is offering grants of up to £5,000 to local charities, voluntary groups and social enterprises in the UK.
Every three months, the foundation will share £15,000 between five shortlisted groups that have a positive impact on communities, people or the environment. A vote will be held by employees of the foundation to decide how the grant will be shared amongst the groups. Awards will be issued as follows:
- First place – £5,000
- Second place – £3,500
- Third place – £2,500
- Fourth and fifth place – £2,000 each.
To be eligible, groups do not need to be registered but must have received an income of less than £50,000 in the last 12 months.
Applications are welcomed throughout the year and will be considered in whichever is the next round of funding. Funding will be awarded every three months, in April, July, October and January, with an application deadline of the 15th of the month before.
For the January awards, apply between 16 September and 15 December.
For the April awards, apply between 16 December and 15 March.
