The Children’s Commissioner for Wales, Rocio Cifuentes, is asking all school-aged children in Wales to share their views about play/break times.
In her May Monthly Matter – a monthly opportunity for children to have their say on a specific topic – the Commissioner is asking children:
- Do you enjoy play/break time? Why? Is it important?
- Do you ever have to miss play/break time? What would make play/break time better?
Presentation slides are available for primary and secondary schools and children with additional learning needs to support classroom-based discussion sessions.
The aim of the Monthly Matter sessions is to enable children and young people to help shape the work of the Children’s Commissioner for Wales. The results will be shared by the Commissioner to coincide with the International Day of Play taking place on 11 June 2024.
