This one-day course gives frontline staff a clear, practical understanding of neurodiversity and how it presents in children and young people. The session explores early identification, co‑occurring conditions, mental health links and how to move beyond a single‑diagnosis lens to see the whole child.

Participants will learn inclusive, strength‑based strategies to support neurodivergent children and families, improve communication, and work effectively across services, schools and systems including ALN Reform and the Curriculum for Wales.

The course is aimed at frontline staff working with children, young people and families — especially those supporting neurodivergent individuals or wanting greater confidence in identifying needs, offering support and signposting effectively.
