This one-day training explores how to meaningfully involve children and young people in decision-making, using the Lundy Model of Participation. Learn how to create Space, Voice, Audience and Influence so young people shape the services that affect them.

Participants will gain:

  • a clear understanding of children and young people’s rights
  • practical tools and reflection opportunities to develop inclusive, participatory approaches
  • greater confidence to move beyond tokenism and towards co-production
  • insights into the methods and frameworks that underpin participation
  • time to network and share best practice with others.

This course is aimed at professionals working with children and young people across education, youth work, local authorities and the voluntary sector.
