Group F Safeguarding for Senior Leaders

A specialist one-day safeguarding course for leaders, focusing on statutory duties, governance, and strategies to embed a strong safeguarding culture.

The session will help participants:

• understand national safeguarding legislation, frameworks, and governance requirements.
• ensure multi-agency collaboration and information sharing in safeguarding cases.
• strengthen knowledge of risk management, compliance, and regulatory processes.
• enhance ability to lead safeguarding initiatives and respond to serious incidents.
• develop strategies to ensure that there is a organisational culture that effectively safeguards people using your services , staff and volunteers
• implement and oversee safeguarding policies and training relevant to roles and responsibilities

This in-person course is designed for CEOs, Directors and Board Chairs – those ultimately responsible for safeguarding within their organisations. It is aimed at senior leaders in public, independent, and not-for-profit sectors, as defined in the National Safeguarding Training Standards (Group F).
