The purpose of the one-day training course is to give participants confidence and essential up to date knowledge on how to safeguard the children, young people and at risk adults in their environment.

The course is aimed at anyone working directly or indirectly with children, young people and adults at risk in a wide range of workplace and community settings.

This training is suitable for practitioners who are part of Group B as described in the National Safeguarding Training, Learning and Development Standards. However, practitioners from Group A can also attend if more in-depth safeguarding training is required.
