The conference, titled Early Years Rights in Practice: Research Informed Practice, is run by the Children’s Rights in Early Years (CREY) Network. It aims to showcase and highlight the work taking place in regards to early years rights in Wales, with particular focus on research informed practice.

The CREY Network is hosted by Children in Wales and Swansea University. At the conference, attendees will hear directly from practitioners on how they are working to support the youngest children to access their rights, through a range of creative methods.

This conference builds on the 2023 conference ‘Listening to our Youngest Children Perspectives from across the UK’, where  inspirational and knowledgeable speakers from across the UK discussed sharing best practice and current work around listening to the voices of young children.

The conference is aimed at a range of professionals in line with the CREY Network membership and will include academics, practitioners, policy makers and the third sector.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
