Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids’ Clubs to deliver funded playwork qualifications

Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids’ Clubs has received funding from the Welsh Government through its training and support programme to deliver playwork qualifications to 750 learners.

Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids’ Clubs will deliver the following qualifications over 18 months, starting in early 2024:

• Level 2 Award in Playwork Practice (L2APP) – 300 learners
• Playwork: Principles into Practice (P³ Level 2 and 3) – 75 learners
• Level 3 Award in Transition to Playwork (ATPW) places – 375 learners.

The qualifications will be delivered to:

• employed early years, childcare and play practitioners aged 18+ for the Transition and P³ (Level 2 and 3) courses
• employed, unemployed or volunteering early years, childcare and playwork practitioners aged 18+ for the L2APP course.

Play Wales is looking forward to working with Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids’ Clubs and partners to deliver the qualifications to playworkers in Wales.
