Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids’ Clubs and Play Wales are seeking the views of the playwork workforce on the Welsh Government’s plan to introduce professional registration for the sector.
The role of the childcare, play and early years workforce has become increasingly recognised for its importance to children’s development. The plan to introduce registration for all play professionals working with children aged 0 to 12 years old aims to ensure the workforce is sufficiently qualified to do so.
Our aim is to represent the collective view of playworkers about the plan. Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids’ has developed a short video to help playworkers understand what is being proposed and why.
