Play Scotland’s new Supporting play in the community toolkit shares ideas to help communities consider how they can work together to improve opportunities for children’s play.
The toolkit has been designed to support communities to enable children, young people and families to play safely near their homes. It includes examples of what has worked, and ideas of how to take community action to promote children’s play.
The toolkit also offers activity ideas for encouraging children to play outdoors and tips for helping children learn to manage risk themselves.
