Playworker – outdoor activities

The purpose of this role is to provide activities in welcoming, safe and stimulating environment for children.
You will plan and deliver organised outdoor play activities for children and their families and provide occasional creche support.
The role also involves assisting with monitoring and evaluation of the family centre service, and providing support to families experiencing challenges, such as parenting.
The successful candidate will have relevant experience and knowledge appropriate to the post.
An NVQ level 3 or equivalent in childcare is essential for this role. Experience of running outdoor activities for children and/or families is desirable for this role.
