The Town and Country Planning Association (TCPA) has published a report calling on UK Government policymakers in Westminster to improve places and spaces for children to develop.
Raising the healthiest generation in history: why it matters where children and young people live draws on evidence gathered by the Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Committee inquiry into children, young people and the built environment. It presents six recommendations for Westminster government ministers and departments, including prioritising opportunities for children’s play.
The report was written by the TCPA in collaboration with the group who initially called for the inquiry: Playing Out, Fields in Trust, childhood expert Tim Gill and architect Dinah Bornat.
