The Welsh Youth Parliament is gathering information from school-aged children and young people about their experiences of the school day.
The My School Day survey is aimed at finding out children’s thoughts about the length of the school day. It also asks whether children feel they have enough time in the day for activities that support their wellbeing, and what they would like to do more of.
The survey results will inform a report by the Welsh Youth Parliament’s Education and the School Curriculum Committee to the Senedd and the Welsh Government in autumn 2023. The work is being carried out in response to the Welsh Government’s exploration of possible changes to the school year.
