The organisers of Play on Early Education are calling for proposals for the forthcoming conference taking place in Athens, Greece between 27 and 30 April 2022.
Proposals for presentations are invited from those working in play and playwork, early education, nursery or forest school provision with an emphasis on play, play space designers, and anyone with any other expertise or interest in children’s play.
The conference will be divided into four themes, each with a keynote and a number of papers:
- Play and the digital realm
- Play across cultures
- Playing with risk and uncertainty
- How play can shape the school of the future.
Selected presenters will receive a discounted participation fee for this hybrid conference.
As well as presentations for the main conference, the organisers are inviting proposals for practical workshops for delegates on 26 April 2022. The 45 to 60 minute workshops will provide ideas that can be taken back into settings to support children’s play and learning.
