The Children’s Commissioner for Wales, Rocio Cifuentes is seeking to appoint new members to her advisory panel.
The panel plays a key role within the governance of the Commissioner’s office, providing independent advice, support, scrutiny and challenge to the Commissioner and her team. The members will also play an important advisory role in ensuring the delivery of the Commissioner’s new three-year plan, Making Life Better for Children in Wales.
The Commissioner is aiming to appoint between 12 and 18 new members with knowledge of issues affecting children in Wales, through an open competition process. Appointments will be for a three-year period, starting in July 2023.
