To celebrate Parenting Week, join Children in Wales for a webinar featuring key speakers from across the UK.
Children in Wales will be sharing what parents are telling them about the challenges they face. The webinar will explore themes from the four nations – Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland, and England. There will also be a question and answer session to discuss ways forward for supporting families.
The event will also feature an overview and video of the results of a photo competition where parents were asked to send in photos sharing what makes their families unique or special.
The webinar will be chaired by Koulla Yiasouma, who was the Northern Ireland Commissioner for Children and Young People from January 2015 to March 2023. She has extensive experience of working with non-governmental organisations (NGOs), communities, politicians and government representatives across Ireland and the UK. Koulla is currently the interim CEO for Parent Focus, Northern Ireland.
