Care Inspectorate Wales quality conference (English language event)

Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) is holding its first quality conferences for childcare and play providers.

This year’s conferences will take place online on the following dates and times via Microsoft Teams:

• Tuesday 26 November 2024, 5:30pm – 8:30pm (English language event)
• Tuesday 3 December 2024, 5:30pm – 8:30pm (Welsh language event)

As part of CIW doing more to support settings on their journey of continuous improvement, the inspectorate is hosting these annual quality conferences to share examples of positive practice and collectively address any common issues across Wales.

These events will be different to the twice-yearly online provider events and will have a different agenda and feel to them.

The events will take place in the evening, to enable more providers to attend.

Joining links will be emailed directly to registered providers in due course.

Language preference

CIW wants to provide the best possible experience for those attending the events. To do this the inspectorate will host separate events for each language and will seek feedback afterwards as to how attendees found the experience.
