Policy and Advocacy Lead Officer

Location: Hybrid working – at home and either the North or South Wales office

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: £35,471.80 per year

The purpose of this role is to provide leadership for all Early Years Wales’ policy responses.

You will lead the evidence-informed response to consultations including seeking to understand and reflect the views of the membership of Early Years Wales.

This role is central to the organisation’s strategic plan and pivotal to the aims of Early Year Wales to influence policy in Wales and be the voice of the early years sector.

You will be part of the management team, reporting to the chief executive officer and working alongside other management staff.

Recent experience of policy or advocacy work in relation to the early years sector, or a closely related field is essential to this role.
