Myth Busting Safeguarding, DBS and Charity Commission

As part of Safeguarding Week 2025 (10 – 14 November), WCVA is offering a range of learning opportunities. This webinar will provide an opportunity for your questions to be answered on Safeguarding, DBS and the Charity Commission.

In this session, three safeguarding professionals will help to sort fact from fiction:

• Suzanne Mollison – Safeguarding Manager at WCVA
• Owain Rowlands – Outreach Officer for Wales at Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
• Sarah Lockett – Charities Engagement Officer at Charity Commission.

Following the presentations, participants will be invited to join break-out rooms with the speakers to ask questions.
