Childcare and play quality conference 2025

This Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) conference is designed specifically for childcare and play providers focusing on the quality of services and support that matters most to your setting and the children in your care.

The conference will include:

• Inspection framework updates– hear more about the latest inspection framework review
• Provider experiences– Q&A sessions with providers
• Policy updates– information about the National Minimum Standards (NMS) review from the Welsh Government
• Quality meetings feedback– what CIW is learning from quality meetings and how this shapes their support
• Your voice matters– CIW will be including a snap survey asking what the sector needs support with, so come prepared to share your thoughts and experiences.
